   composer
   Born in Paris, Yves Baudrier was the cofounder, along with O. Messiaen, a. Jolivet, and Daniel-Lesur, of the group Jeune France (1936), which advocated a "return to the human" in music. Baudrier is the author of works of great freshness, often inspired by the region of Brittany: symphonic poems (Raz de Sein, 1935; Le Grand Vollier 1939; Le Musicien dans la cité, 1946), a symphonie (1945), and melodies and musical scores for films (La Bataille du rail, 1946).
